Escape from Tarkov is supposed to be a »hardcore MMO« (PR quote) for PC with shooter and role-playing elements and a strong story focus. The events take place in the fictional Russian city of Tarkov, which was cut off from the outside world by roadblocks and plunged into chaos by the struggle of private military companies. The game, trimmed for realism, will receive a closed beta test in early 2016, for which players can register on the official website .
